Upcoming meeting with MP Sarah Olney about ‘Injustice happened here’ initiative
Earlier this year, Sarah Olney MP proposed the Victims of Rape and Serious Sexual Offences (Free Access to Sentencing Remarks) Bill, which is currently at the second reading stage in the House of Commons. Her clear advocacy for improvements within the criminal-justice system for sexual violence survivors is encouraging, and there will be countless survivors around the country who are grateful for Sarah’s sponsorship of the Bill, as well as her wider political work in this space.
The founder of Injustice happened here is grateful that Sarah is taking the time to meet with him to discuss the initiative’s work, on 14th November 2025.
During this meeting, points of discussion will include the fact that public discourse around male-on-male rape and sexual assault is rarely given a spotlight, even though 1 in 18 men are estimated to have been raped or sexually assaulted since the age of 16 (Statistics: Rape Crisis England & Wales).
Sarah will be informed as to how the Injustice happened here initiative hopes to empower male-on-male sexual violence survivors who have not experienced legal justice to regain autonomy of their personal narratives and create some level of social justice for themselves through artistic engagement.

Kindly consider utilising her existing relationships with sexual violence, mental health and arts charities to introduce the Injustice happened here initiative and its ambitions to these organisations’ senior decision makers.
Kindly consider raising with the Ministry of Justice and the Home Office awareness of male-on-male sexual violence, the lack of social visibility around this matter, and the lack of justice achieved through the criminal-justice system for survivors of male-on-male sexual violence.
Kindly allow the initiative’s founder to update her/her parliamentary office on the Injustice happened here initiative as it progresses.
