Update following introductory meeting with MP Sarah Olney

I have written to Sarah Olney MP to express my most sincere thanks for her taking the time to meet with me on 14 November 2025 to speak about the Injustice happened here initiative.

We discussed that this social change project aims to address the prevalent yet under-discussed issue of male-on-male sexual violence, and the associated lack of justice achieved through the criminal-justice system, by using honest art as a vehicle for social change.

During our conversation, I was heartened by Sarah’s existing and in-depth understanding of sexual violence issues, the challenges which some victims can face within the criminal-justice system, as well as her existing advocacy for sexual violence victims within the courts to receive free access to sentencing remarks through your sponsorship of the Victims of Rape and Serious Sexual Offences (Free Access to Sentencing Remarks) Bill.

We agreed that I will keep Sarah Olney’s office updated on the progression of the initiative.
